San Antonio, TX (May 19, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported on Friday evening claimed one person’s life. The San Antonio Police Department was called to the scene of the accident on the southwest side of the city just after 9:30 p.m. on May 17.
Reports show that an electric scooter was heading northbound on South Zarzamora Street. As the vehicle proceeded through the 7300 block of the roadway, it was struck by a southbound red Toyota Camry. The scooter rider was severely injured in the crash and rushed to an area hospital. Authorities confirmed that the victim died after arriving. No other injuries were reported. The San Antonio police department is investigating.
