Fort Sam Houston, TX (February 7, 2024) – The police and firefighters from Port Sam Houston responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Tuesday morning and ended in injuries. Authorities were informed of the collision at approximately 9:15 a.m. on February 6.
Police reports indicate that vehicles collided in the 3100 block of Schofield Road. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway extensively as they worked to remove the involved vehicles. Delays were reported in the area near South 23rd Road as emergency crews remained on site. At least one person was transported to a local hospital, where they underwent further medical care and evaluation. The incident is currently under investigation.
