Travis Co., TX (February 13, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident was reported in Travis County on Sunday evening that claimed the lives of multiple people. The accident was reported to law enforcement just before 10:00 p.m. on February 11.
According to official reports, a collision between four vehicles blocked multiple lanes at the intersection of Farm to Market Road 812 and Farm to Market Road 973. The police and firefighters rushed to the scene of the accident and immediately secured the road. Four people involved in the crash suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene. One additional victim was injured and rushed to an area hospital for the treatment of potentially serious injuries. The circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated.
