San Antonio, TX (December 21, 2023) – A driver was traveling through the San Antonio area when they lost control of their vehicle and struck a pedestrian, leaving him injured. At approximately 9:00 p.m. on December 19, emergency officials were notified that their assistance was needed at on-site at a crash on Old Tezel Road.

According to official reports, a 61-year-old man was driving his vehicle through the area during the evening when he lost control of his vehicle. As a result, the vehicle struck a 52-year-old male pedestrian near the intersection of Guilbeau Road. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and attempted to provide emergency care to the victim. The pedestrian was transported to University Hospital, where he underwent treatment for his injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
