San Antonio, TX – One Killed in Motorcycle Crash on US-87 near Loop 1604

San Antonio, TX (January 7, 2024) – A motorcycle crash reported in the San Antonio area on Friday evening claimed one person’s life. Calls for help were received by the San Antonio Police Department at around 5:45 p.m. on January 5.

According to law enforcement reports, a collision involving a motorcycle and one additional vehicle occurred on US Highway 87 near East Loop 1604. The crash prompted authorities to shut down the roadway near the south access road as they worked to remove the involved vehicles. One person involved in the crash incurred fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased on-site. At this time, the police department is investigating.
