San Antonio, TX (February 1, 2024) – The San Antonio Police Department confirmed that a motor vehicle accident on the west side of San Antonio on Tuesday evening claimed one person’s life. Authorities were notified of the collision at around 830 p.m. on January 30.
Reports from law enforcement show that a man between 30 and 40 years old was walking in the 7600 block of US Highway 90 W. during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a white pickup truck. The white pickup truck fled the scene of the crash immediately. The pedestrian, who has not been publicly identified, was fatally injured in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
