San Antonio, TX (May 6, 2024) – A motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries following a crash that occurred on the south side of San Antonio on Friday evening, May 3.
At around 8:15 p.m., a motorcycle was traveling north in the 13,600 block of Applewhite Road. As the vehicle proceeded forward, it collided with a semi-truck tractor-trailer. The motorcyclist was severely injured in the crash. EMS responded to the scene to render aid to the victim, who was identified as a 35-year-old man. The victim was rushed to an area hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition. The incident is under investigation.
