These accidents leave tens of thousands of people with severe injuries that affect their lives forever. The unfortunate truth is that the majority of accidents that are reported on our roadways are completely preventable. Far too often, innocent people are hurt as a result of driver negligence.

Causes of Car Crashes

Some of the most common factors in motor vehicle accidents across Texas include:

  • Drunk driving: Drunk driving contributes to numerous car crashes in Texas, endangering lives due to impaired judgment and decreased reaction times.
  • Failing to yield: Failing to yield at intersections often results in collisions in Texas, as drivers disregard traffic laws and fail to give right of way, causing accidents and potential injuries.
  • Reckless lane changes: Reckless lane changes on Texas roads frequently lead to car crashes, as drivers make sudden or unsafe maneuvers without signaling, increasing the risk of collisions and harm to others on the road.
