Austin, TX (April 7, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Austin area on Friday sent two people to area hospitals with serious injuries. The accident occurred at around 110 p.m. on April 5.
Official reports indicate that two vehicles collided head-on while traveling on Farm to Market Road 1431. The incident prompted authorities to close the roadway. One person was pinned in their vehicle and had to be extricated by authorities. Both victims were declared trauma alerts and rushed to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center by EMS for emergency treatment. At this time, the accident is under investigation.
