Austin, TX (April 13, 2024) – One person has died as a result of injuries they suffered following a pedestrian accident reported in Austin. The incident occurred at around 340 a.m. on April 12.
According to official reports, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 1700 block of East Riverside Drive. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and shut down the roadway near Shore District Drive while assisting. The pedestrian was severely injured in the crash. Emergency medical services perform CPR on the victim. However, the pedestrian ended up passing away from their injuries while at the scene. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
