Austin, TX (October 29, 2023) – The Austin Travis County EMS responded to the scene of a crash with the Austin Police Department and firefighters to provide assistance.

The accident occurred at around 8:30 p.m. October 27.

According to law enforcement reports, two vehicles collided in the 2100 block of US Highway 183. The incident blocked multiple southbound lanes of the road near East Riverside Drive.

Four people were hurt in the accident. Three ambulances were requested at the scene to care for victims. The injured parties were transported to St. David’s South Hospital for emergency treatment.

The crash is being investigated.
