Austin, TX (March 10, 2024) – Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the southeast side of Austin that ended in injuries. Calls for help came in at approximately 6:30 a.m. on March 8.
Reports provided by local news sources show that a vehicle collision occurred in the 3500 block of Montopolis Drive. The incident prompted the response of police and firefighters, as well as emergency medical services personnel. Police and firefighters immediately closed off a portion of the roadway as they worked to remove debris and damaged vehicles from the scene. Emergency medical services tended to the injured victims on-site. At least one of the people involved in the crash sustained injuries that required further medical care. The victims were transported to area hospitals. At this time, law enforcement is investigating the incident.
