Austin, TX (March 2, 2024) – Injuries were reported as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Friday evening in Austin. The Travis County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the scene of the accident at approximately 5:15 p.m. on March 1.
Preliminary reports indicate that a collision occurred in the 4000 block of Westlake Drive. Authorities responded to the scene and closed off multiple lanes between Green Cliffs Road and Cassava Drive. Emergency medical services were dispatched to the crash site. At least one person sustained injuries and had to be transported by ambulance to a local hospital for emergency treatment. The Travis County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
