Auto Accidents in Texas

In 2022, the Fatality Rate on Texas roadways stood at 1.55 deaths per hundred million vehicle miles traveled, reflecting a critical statistic in the assessment of road safety within the state. This rate serves as a key indicator of the risk associated with navigating Texas roads, taking into account the number of fatalities relative to the total distance traveled.

Unfortunately, we see tens of thousands of people left with serious injuries as a result of collisions in our state. Every year, tens of thousands of people are hospitalized with severe trauma to the head, broken bones, and other significant injuries that impact their lives forever. If you have been hurt in a car crash, taking timely legal action can provide you with the financial relief you need moving forward.

Is it Hard to File a Personal Injury Lawsuit?

Filing a lawsuit after being involved in a car crash can vary in difficulty based on factors such as the availability of evidence, cooperation from insurance companies, the extent of injuries, and the overall legal process. Determining how complex the process will be is generally determined on how complicated your car crash case is and the willingness of the at-fault party or their insurance provider to cooperate.

Seeking legal representation from a Texas car accident attorney can significantly ease the process, as they can handle legal complexities, negotiate with insurance companies, and guide individuals through the necessary steps. While challenges may come up throughout the legal process, many cases are resolved through settlements, minimizing the need for a formal lawsuit. A knowledgeable legal team will be able to guide you through the process and fight for fair compensation.
