Schertz, TX (May 30, 2024) – A construction site accident reported in the Schertz area claimed one person’s life on Tuesday, May 28. The incident was reported to authorities at around 4:30 p.m.
According to official reports, a construction site accident occurred in the 17,000 block of Tejas Way. Authorities arrived at the construction site and located a man with severe injuries not far from Farm to Market Road 3009. Authorities confirmed that the victim was working for the Yantis Construction Company. Despite medical efforts, the man was pronounced deceased while at the scene. The police department is investigating the accident.
