San Antonio, TX (June 3, 2024) – A pedestrian has lost his life as a result of a fatal accident reported on Sunday morning on the City’s West Side. The crash took place just before 1:50 a.m. on June 2.
According to reports from local news sources, a male pedestrian was struck by a white SUV on Historic Highway 90. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway near West Cesar Chavez Boulevard. Emergency crews remained on-site for a significant amount of time. Despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The involved vehicle fled the scene of the crash.
