Austin, TX (February 6, 2024) – The Austin Police Department confirmed that a major motor vehicle accident occurred on the Northeast side of the city that resulted in multiple injuries. The crash was reported to the Austin Police Department at approximately 6:00 p.m. on February 4.
According to authorities, multiple vehicles collided on East Howard Lane at the intersection of Harris Brands Parkway. A total of four vehicles were located at the scene, blocking the road. Ten people were involved in the accident. Two adult victims and two teenage victims were seriously injured in the crash. The four victims were transported to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center for emergency medical treatment. Two additional adult victims were injured in the accident and transported to Dell Seton Medical Center. At this time, the Austin Police Department is investigating.
