Car Accidents in Texas

Car accidents are reported daily in Texas. Many of these accidents result in severe personal injuries for those involved. Unfortunately, it is common to see victims left with severe trauma to the head, severe compound fractures, and internal organ injuries.

After being involved in a car crash, victims have the ability to file personal injury claims against those who are responsible. It is important to understand your rights and what you can do to protect them.

What Should I Do After a Crash?

After being involved in an automobile accident, there are several things that you need to do to ensure your rights are protected. You will first want to begin by reaching out to law enforcement. You will want the police and emergency medical services to respond to the scene. This will help to ensure that the accident is documented and that you are able to get medical care for your injuries.

If you have time and the ability to do so, you should gather evidence from the scene. This can include names and contact information for witnesses, names and insurance information of others involved in the crash, and pictures of the scene of the accident in all of the vehicles.
