Timberwood Park, TX (October 31, 2023) – A man lost his life as a result of a fatal fire that occurred in the Timberwood Park area. The incident occurred at around 12:34 p.m. on October 28.
According to the Bexar County Fire Marshals, a garage fire was reported in the 25,500 block of Echo Terrace during the afternoon hours. The incident caused severe damage to the structure. Firefighters arrived at the scene and located heavy smoke coming out of the garage. Firefighters went to work immediately on battling the blaze.
Authorities entered the structure and located a victim, identified as 36-year-old Carlos Soto, with severe injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for emergency care. The firefighters confirmed that the man passed away from his injuries.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
