San Antonio, TX (October 26, 2023) – The San Antonio Police Department confirmed that 46-year-old Noemi Yanez lost her life in a fatal bicycle crash that occurred early Wednesday morning, October 25.

At around 6:30 a.m., SAPD officers were called to assist firefighters at the scene of a collision on South General McMullen Drive.

Law enforcement reports show that Yanez was riding a bicycle on South General McMullen Drive when a dark-colored SUV traveled down the roadway and struck her.

Yanez incurred fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased from her injuries by responding law enforcement officers.
